SIGAL Kosova was established in 2003, marking the implementation of the strategy for internationalization of the insurance activity of SIGAL. SIGAL Kosova was licensed by the Central Banking Authority of Kosova as non-life company for general insurances.
Since 2008 SIGAL Kosova also operates under the name SIGAL UNIQA Group AUSTRIA Kosova and ranks among the leading companies of the market as it has a markets share of 13% of the total premium volume.
SIGAL UNIQA Kosova has extended its service through its branches and agencies in Pristina, Prizren, Peja, Gjilan, Gjakova, Ferizaj and Mitrovica .
Since September 2011 in Kosova operates also SIGAL Life UNIQA Group AUSTRIA Kosova. Licensed by the Central Bank of Kosova, SIGAL Life UNIQA Kosova will operate in the life insurance market, bringing in this way innovative life insurance products in Kosova.
