SIGAL ad Skopje was established within the framework of extending the insurance activity of SIGAL also in Macedonia after being licensed in August 2004 to conduct its activities in the segment of non-life insurance.
Since 2009, SIGAL a.d Skopje has a new identity and operates under the name UNIQA ad Skopje. Through its seven years of activity, UNIQA a.d has been developed and enhanced its service by offering a wide range of products in the segment of non-life insurance and also has a broad geographical coverage .
In May 2011, SIGAL UNIQA further expanded its activity in Macedonia through the establishment of UNIQA Life Skopje a.d, which was licensed by the Supervisory Authority to operate in the Macedonian life insurance market.
